Where do you feel truly welcomed?
Maybe it’s when you walk in the door after a long day at work…
Or when someone at Chick-fil-A says, “My pleasure”…
When the bell person at your favorite hotel opens the door…
Or when the car service tech steps up immediately to ask how they can help with your oil change…
Or even right here at St. Hubert, when a greeter opens the door with a smile.
That is our goal: to give you that same warm, welcomed feeling every time you walk through our doors.
The Connectors Ministry is a new ministry dedicated to offering radical hospitality to everyone who comes to Mass at St. Hubert. We strive to ensure that parishioners and visitors feel welcomed, comfortable, included, and valued. Connectors notice, listen, offer personal attention, answer questions, and follow through with care.
Our hope is simple:
That everyone who steps into St. Hubert feels connected—and never alone.
“The Connectors ministry is seeking new volunteers. Our table is in the Narthex during the weekend Masses. You may have passed it while entering the church. Our mission is to offer a welcoming environment for our parish as well as our visitors. We want all to feel appreciated and valued.
I joined the ministry as I enjoy meeting new people and visiting old friends. I have been a member of our parish for 27 years, volunteering for this ministry has helped me establish new connections with parishioners I would have missed had I not said yes. Building a community starts small and grows rapidly when we get involved. Our mission as a parish is to form missionary disciples who know, love and imitate Jesus Christ. This is a great opportunity to help grow our faith community.
The time commitment is based on when you are available. We staff the table before, during and after mass. We provide a place where questions can be asked and suggestions offered. We also offer to listen, sometimes that is all that is needed.
It has been a blessing for me to meet new people and help create a faith filled environment for our parish, please join us and help grow our ministry and expand our parish community.” Mary Prosser, parishioner, Parish Council Member and Connector Desk volunteer.
