The Church has consistently taught that every human life is precious and worthy of protection. In April 2018, Pope Francis wrote: “Our defense of the innocent unborn … needs to be clear, firm and passionate, for at stake is the dignity of a human life, which is always sacred and demands love for each person, regardless of his or her stage of development.” Â
The mission of our St Hubert Respect Life Group is to protect life, from conception to natural death, through education, fundraising, outreach and prayer. Our group meets quarterly to share information on life issues, plan upcoming events, and to pray. 100% of the contributions from our fundraising events are donated to local crisis pregnancy centers and pro-life organizations. In particular, we host several events during October “Respect Life” Month.Â
