Soulcore

SoulCore is an invitation to integrate body, mind & soul in prayer, fully orienting oneself to Christ, while discovering the beauty of the rosary. It pairs strengthening, stretching and functional movement with praying the entire rosary. SoulCore begins with basic stretches to warm up the body and recite the Apostle’s Creed. Each Mystery begins with a scripture verse and a reflection, offering a time of rest. The movements are invitations only.

SoulCore is for 3 to 80 year olds. It is for people who have said one million rosaries or never one before. SoulCore can be done in the pew or in front of the altar. Each prayer has an associated movement to it that can be modified.

Participants can expect the duration to be ~1 hour and only a towel or mat is needed. Weights are optional. SoulCore is led by certified instructor, Andrea Krautkramer.

During SoulCore we begin with basic stretches to warm up the body and recite the Apostle’s Creed. Each Mystery begins with a scripture verse and a reflection, offering a time of rest. You are invited to do push-ups or an alternative through each of the Our Father prayers. Movements will vary for each Hail Mary. A position of surrender is offered during the Glory Be. The movements are invitations only. You can sit in a chair, get on the floor or simply rest. The instructor’s only job is to invite and serve as a vessel to help you make a stronger connection to Blessed Mother, Jesus’s life, and the virtues of each decade.
