Caritas Lebanon Collection

On August 4, a massive fire triggered a deadly explosion in Beirut, Lebanon leaving over 200 dead, 5,000 injured, and over 300,000 homeless. Pope Francis calls for prayers and a united effort to help Lebanon overcome this “serious crisis.” Please prayerfully consider how the Lord is calling you to support our brothers and sisters in need during these desperate times.

How Can You Help?

  1. Bring a check or cash to contribute to our second collection at Mass the weekend of August 15 and 16.

  2. Click Here, and under Special Collection, make a one time donation for the “Caritas Lebanon Fund.”  Contributions will be accepted through this fund through August 25.

  3. Mail a check made out to St. Hubert Catholic Community with “Caritas Lebanon Fund” in the Memo line. Address is 8201 Main Street, Chanhassen, MN 55317.

  4. Stop by the Giving Kiosk next to the parish office to make an electronic donation.

All proceeds from this collection will go to the organization, Caritas Lebanon, the common official socio-pastoral arm of the local Catholic Church. Your contribution will appear on your 2020 giving records.

Thank you for your generosity!

Matthew 25:35-36
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
