Holy Eucharist
The Holy Eucharist completes Christian initiation. Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism participate with the whole community in the Lord's own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist. The Eucharistic sacrifice, the memorial of the death and resurrection of the Lord, is the "source and summit of all worship and Christian life." Indeed, the other sacraments and the ecclesiastical works of the apostolate are closely connected with the Eucharist.
