Lenten Resources

  • St. Hubert Catholic Community 8201 Main Street Chanhassen, MN 55317 United States (map)

As we journey through Lent, we pray you are finding graces and fruits through your Lenten observances. We invite you to visit this page for resources, reflections, and activities to help you to enter more deeply into this Holy, penitential season. We will continue to add resources as we learn of them.

In his homily the First Sunday of Lent, Deacon Pat referenced the five graces of baptism, and how those graces are allowing the Holy Spirit to work in our lives today. Deacon Pat invites you to reflect on these graces, and pray with them throughout this Lenten season. If you didn't hear his homily, you can listen on the St. Hubert Catholic Community YouTube channel, during the February 21 Mass posted for the First Sunday of Lent.

“Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission” (CCC 1213)

“The fruit of Baptism, or baptismal grace, is a rich reality that includes forgiveness of original sin and all personal sins, birth into the new life by which man becomes an adoptive son of the Father, a member of Christ and a temple of the Holy Spirit. By this very fact the person baptized is incorporated into the Church, the Body of Christ, and made a sharer in the priesthood of Christ.” (CCC 1279)
