Private Appointments to Receive Holy Communion

Holy Communion.jpg

In order to fulfill our precept of the Church, Archbishop Hebda has allowed for the private reception of Holy Communion by appointment once during the Easter season. St. Hubert parishioners can sign up for one appointment at St. Hubert HERE . Times may be subject to change, depending on clergy availability. When you sign up, indicate in the comment section the number of persons in your household who will come to receive Holy Communion. You do not need to note any from your household who are coming but not receiving Holy Communion (ex. small children).

Please note: we are able to receive Holy Communion in this way only once during the Easter season. These appointments are not meant to be large gatherings. We will distribute Holy Communion to those in your household only. If you have family members not living in your house, they should not be included in your appointment.

If you are in need of Confession before receiving Holy Communion, please come to one of our regular Confession times before your appointment to receive Holy Communion. Confessions are available Sundays 8-8:25 AM, Thursdays at 6:30 PM, and Saturdays at 4-5 PM.

If the weather is fair, we will gather in the Mary Garden (accessible from the North Parking lot - the entrance is to the right of the Adoration Chapel). If there is rain, we will gather in the Adoration Chapel.  We have many appointments, and we want to minimize person-to-person contact as much as possible, so please arrive as close to your appointed time as possible. Remember to keep the one-hour Eucharistic fast before you arrive. Proper cleaning materials (hand sanitizer, cleaning bottles, etc.) will be available in whichever location we use, and clergy will wash their hands between every appointment. We will celebrate a brief liturgy, consisting of a Penitential Rite, Reading of the Word of God, the Lord's Prayer, Reception of Holy Communion, Prayer After Communion, and a Blessing. You are welcome to stay and pray briefly after the liturgy is completed; however, please be aware that others may be coming shortly after the liturgy has concluded.

If you are an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, at this time we are unable to give you the Blessed Sacrament to bring to others. This sign up is for those who are able to come to the St. Hubert building to receive Holy Communion. As we make phone calls to the elderly and homebound, we will set up appointments to bring Communion to them when possible. If you have a particular circumstance that prevents you from coming to the building to receive Communion, please call the parish office at 952-934-9106.

You should not attend if you or any of your household are exhibiting any COVID 19 symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath).

May the receiving of Our Lord in the Most Holy Eucharist bring you joy and consolation this Easter season!
