Send Someone Jesus

While the stay-at-home order lasts and we are unable to spend time with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament as we desire, you can nominate a person or family to send our clergy to for a brief visit with the Blessed Sacrament, so that person or family can spend some time with Jesus standing at their curb. Nominations are due Friday, May 15. We will make these visits until May 18, when the current stay-at-home order is set to expire. If the order is extended, we will adjust our timeline accordingly.

Rules:

1.  You may nominate one person/family to send Jesus to. You may nominate two alternates if your first choice has already been nominated.

2.  The person or family you nominate must be a registered parishioner of St. Hubert, a member of the school, or living within the parish territory.

3.  You may not nominate yourself.

4.  You may not nominate someone who lives in a senior facility (we have separate plans to bring them Jesus).

Details:

1.   We will ask you for your contact information in the survey for two reasons: first, to follow up with you if we need to learn/confirm the person's/family's home address, and second, to follow up with you to arrange the date and time the clergy will visit.

2.   Once the clergy have confirmed the date and time of the visit, you will contact the nominee to let them know when they will need to be in their front yard. You can decide to tell them that Jesus is coming or make it a surprise.

3.  If you nominate someone who lives in an apartment building, the clergy will need to know which window/side of the building they live on.

4.   The contact information we receive (addresses, phone numbers, etc.) will only be used by parish staff for the purposes of this parish activity and will not be given to any others.

5.   If the date/time of the visit needs to change (clergy unavailability, bad weather, etc.), the clergy will let you know when he is next available to make a visit, and you will need to follow-up with your nominee.

We will do our best to fulfill all nominations, however due to the short time frame we are conducting visits and depending on the number of nominations received, we may not be able to visit every home nominated. We apologize if we do not make it to your nomination.

Thank you for considering making a nomination out of love for a friend or family member during this challenging time for all of us. We pray that these visits will be a blessing to those who receive a visit, and a time of consolation while we await the day we can worship together again.
