We are grateful to those who completed the recent parish survey. The number of responses exceeded expectations, which was a wonderful gift. Overall, the data shows that parishioners love their parish, want to stay on a positive course, and recognize some areas that need to be strengthened. The next step in the strategic planning process is to hold listening sessions. This will be an opportunity for leadership to share additional information with you, and for you to share additional information on the particular topics. Based on the data collected in the survey, we have identified these three topics to explore at listening sessions:
Connecting, Welcoming, and Involving – How can we welcome new and returning members and help others to become more engaged?
Faith Formation: What opportunities do people want for themselves and for family members? What additional opportunities could we offer?
Historic Church: The historic church, located on the corner of West 78th Street and Great Plains Boulevard, is on the Historic Registry and is a significant piece of the origins of Chanhassen. The current state of the church is unusable, and major renovations would be required to restore it.
